HEAVY RIGGING

Bay Ltd. has one of the region’s largest and most modern fleets of specialized heavy hauling and rigging equipment. With over 130 modern hydraulic truck cranes ranging from 40 to 450 tons capacity, Bay is able to support routine projects through complete plant wide turnarounds.   Supported by engineered lift plans and haul route analysis, Bay's experienced personnel provide world-class service and solutions to challenging hauling and rigging projects.

HYDRAULIC LIFT SYSTEM

Lifting Made Safe and Flexible

The POSILIFT System uniquely handles the heaviest and tallest vessels/reactors with the maximum operational safety and precision. The system operates with two to four masts and is controlled completely from ground level.  Between lifts, the load rests on a lock plate above the jacks, and no part of the load is taken by the masts themselves.  The positive locking device of the jack-up system improves the precision of the lifting process as compared with other, friction-sensitive systems.

Lift height is maximized at 150 meters, with a lift rate of up to eight meters per hour.  The system can be used with masts that list 600, 1200 or 2000 tons per section (e.g.: 8,000 tons for a four mast lift).  The mast rig can also be moved horizontally in all directions by skidding.
