  Electrician Apprentice

  Bay Ltd. is looking for experience electrical apprentices to work in the Corpus Christi area. The job requires 1-3 yrs. experience and a state license. Essential Job Functions: Assist the electrician in installing and repairing electrical systems, apparatus, electrical and electronic components of industrial machines and equipment. Major Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Gather tools and supplies to be used at work site according to instructions. 2. Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit, using ruler and hand tools. 3. Drill holes for wiring, using power drill and pull or push wiring through opening. 4. May trace out short circuits in wiring, using knowledge of wiring and test meter. 5. Assist in lifting, positioning, or fastening objects, such as wiring, conduit and motors. 6. Perform minor repairs, such as replacing fuses, light sockets, bulbs, and switches. 7. May disassemble defective electrical equipment, replace worn or defective parts and reassemble equipment. Physical Demands: Work both indoor and outdoor; may include extreme hot or cold weather conditions. Spend most of the day standing on feet; requires stooping, bending, and squatting.
